Kim Kardashian is pointing fingers, and this time it’s not at an ex or a stylist. It’s at artificial intelligence. The reality star and future lawyer recently confessed that her favorite study partner, ChatGPT, might be the reason she didn’t ace some of her law exams.
During a Vanity Fair interview with Teyana Taylor, Kim revealed that she often uses ChatGPT when she studies. “When I need to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture, snap it, and put it in there,” she said. But instead of helping her pass, she claims the chatbot gave her wrong answers. “They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests,” she admitted.
When Taylor asked if that counts as cheating, Kim didn’t really say yes or no. She did share that she sometimes argues with the bot after getting bad grades. “I’ll get mad and yell at it like, ‘You made me fail!’” she said. Apparently, ChatGPT responds like a life coach, telling her, “This is just teaching you to trust your instincts.”
So now the AI isn’t just giving wrong answers. It’s giving therapy too.
Kim completed her law program earlier this year and took the bar exam a couple of months later. She’s waiting on her results and, hopefully, didn’t rely too much on her digital study buddy this time around.
While she’s not a licensed lawyer yet, Kim has already made headlines for her work in prison reform and her dedication to studying law. Whether ChatGPT helps or hurts her next steps, one thing is certain. The internet is watching every move.
