Xavier Worthy Sues Former Fiancée for Alleged Assault, Theft, and $150K in Damages
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is taking legal action against his former fiancée, Tia Jones, claiming she assaulted him and caused significant property damage during a contentious breakup.

Worthy says the altercation resulted in more than $150,000 in stolen or damaged property, including:
- $30,000 in cash that was allegedly stored in a closet
- A handgun that he claims went missing from the couch
- The damaged game room setup, shown in photos included in the lawsuit
Worthy’s legal filing suggests the destruction and alleged theft were part of a broader effort to tarnish his reputation by leaking false narratives to the media.

This legal dispute follows a March arrest of Worthy in Texas on a domestic violence-related charge involving the same former partner. He was accused of impeding breathing or circulation, but the Williamson County District Attorney later announced it would not pursue charges.
