Cardi B did not come to play at the Met Gala this year! She is easily becoming well known to turn heads every year with her meticulously thought-out looks curated by her and her team.
In a recently published video on their YouTube channel, Vogue drops an intimate video of Cardi B getting ready for the 2023 Met Gala.
The Bodak Yellow rapper speaks about her anxiety when prepping for the annual fashion exhibition that donates millions to charity.
“Every single time that I got to the Met, it’s fun of course,” she continued. “After my first time going to the Met, I always get anxiety. And the anxieties just grow and grow and grow.” She added, “Maybe because my looks are so spectacular that people just expect every year to be more amazing than the last, and it’s so hard because imagine competing with myself. That is sickening.”
Cardi B killed the Met Gala this year with not one, not two, but three different looks (with a fourth look for the afterparty)!
Cardi changed into a more comfortable dress for the afterparty at The Box. The party was said to have lasted until 6 in the morning!
Her and her husband Offset were caught all smiles in recently posted photos online.
