5 years ago, Grammy Nominee Brent Faiyaz was quoted by Vice News saying,

“One day somebody will give me 20 million dollars to do it and to keep doing it.”

Well, he was wrong… he got a lot more. It has been reported by multiple sources that Brent has partnered with “United Masters” for a distribution deal worth $50 million.

This deal was a long time coming for the Maryland native. In 2014, under his manager Ty Baisden’s guidance, Faiyaz formed his own independent label called “Lost Kids LLC” in 2016. During Brent’s initial rise to fame, he received multiple offers from major labels.

These offers included an alleged $250k advance, which he turned down according to Vice News.

Brent explained,

“It’s just common sense. I think a lot of those deals, like motherf*king 80/20 splits and getting 20-something-percent royalty rates on music that they write and produce themselves — just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s just simple math.”

On May 2 Brent Faiyaz announced his new 2023 tour, F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour, across his social media platforms. The tour starts off in the U.S. in July then finishes across seas in the U.K. in November.

Congratulations Brent 💰!
