The suspect in the video filmed on southbound I-880 near Hegenberger Road in Oakland has been identified as 61-year old Tracy Robert Blackwell of Newark.
Blackwell was booked in the Alameda County Jail in Dublin, facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon with hate crime enhancements.
Social media detectives went into action after the video went viral. They captured the drivers tags and quickly identified him as a convicted pedophile.
Lit Convos can confirm Blackwell was found guilty of committing lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 in 2001.
To dwell even deeper, SF Gate uncovered in 2000 Blackwell was being investigated in connection with making obscene phone calls and stalking a 19-year-old.
During the investigation, videotapes were found of Blackwell sexually abusing a child.
Blackwell was released from jail in 2009 after spending eight years in prison for the latter offense and currently resides in Newark.
